Newsletter - September 2010

What a brilliant show we had on Saturday 14 August.  There were plenty of good quality entries in the classes despite such a tricky growing season and it was good to see several new people having a go for the first time. We were pleased to welcome an amazing number of visitors in the afternoon.  A full write up with pics is on the Events page.

The next dates in our diary  for this year are listed below

Saturday 9 October - The Jubilee Sailing Trust Pumpkin Festival  held at Royal Victoria Country Park 12 noon- 5.50pm We will have a stand at this event - to find out more check out www.jst.hampshire.org.uk which will give you all the info.

Saturday 16 October - SAGA Pumpkin Competition at Witts Hill Allotment Site with classes for the Heavyweights and also carving skills with a special class for juniors.

Please remember to renew your membership for 1st October as our membership year has now changed. Seed catalogues and seed potato order forms will be available shortly.
